Description: Applicants must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of machining. Responsibilities would include: Operating all types of machine tools, including CNC lathe, engine lathe, knee mill, surface grinder. Perform adjustments to machinery according to test evaluations. Read and interpret blue prints or drawings. Use micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring tools to ensure in-process or product tolerances. Requirements: Qualified applicants will typically posses the following: A high school education or equivalent. Good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and follow written instructions, and to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to recognize and solve problems. Good manual dexterity. Basic Computer skills. TIG welding would be a plus. Minimum 2-3 years experience in Machine operating required.
