WHAT IS MY COURSES PAGE
Your personal My Courses page is the central location to use all features of Vista.
After you have logged into Blackboard Learning Systems Vista and changed your password, you should take a quick look around so that you can become comfortable with Vista.
The Standard Toolbars appear at the top of the My Courses page so this is a good place to begin:
- The logo bar is the top part (frame) of the page -- this frame always shows the My Settings, Check Browser, Help, and Logout links
On the My Courses page look at the "Course List" box located in the middle of the page. This will provide you access to the courses and section for which you are enrolled. On the right hand side of the page you will be able to see who's online and to request a chat.
Back at the top of the My Courses page there are three options to customize the layout for how you view Vista: "Channels," "Color," and "Layout." Feel free to play with these to design the layout that best fits you.
From the Course List select the course you have enrolled for. This will take you to the Home Page for that course. Click on the icon for Introduction to On-line-Learning for a brief introduction and orientation to Vista.
If, at any time, you have questions, feel free to contact your course instructor. For technical assistance please e-mail onlinesupport@batc.edu
